Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
  • Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns efficiently, and ensure a positive dining experience through excellent customer service and guest relations
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to sanitation and food safety standards
  • Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as SpotON , Shift4
  • Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices in the food industry
  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and guest relations
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, check splitting, and handling cash accurately
  • Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
  • Must be adaptable to various roles including serving, bussing tables, or assisting hosts/hostesses as needed
