Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable, hardworking masonry laborer to assist with residential and light commercial masonry and concrete projects. This position supports a lead mason on projects including brick and block work, concrete flatwork, stone installation, repointing, and structural repairs.We are a quality-focused company that values efficiency, craftsmanship, and professionalism. This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn the trade, develop real skills, and grow within a small but disciplined crew.Responsibilities<ul><li>Mix mortar and concrete to proper consistency</li><li>Transport and stage brick, block, stone, and materials</li><li>Cut brick/block using saws and grinders</li><li>Set up and break down scaffolding and jobsite equipment</li><li>Assist with forming and pouring concrete</li><li>Maintain clean and organized job sites</li><li>Operate basic power tools (grinder, demo hammer, mixer, etc.)</li><li>Load/unload trucks and manage materials</li><li>Follow direction from lead mason and maintain production pace</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation</li><li>Ability to lift 80+ lbs repeatedly</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions</li><li>Strong work ethic and punctuality (no chronic call-outs)</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail</li><li>Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools</li><li>Willingness to learn masonry techniques and construction fundamentals</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)<ul><li>1+ year construction or masonry experience</li><li>Experience mixing mortar, cutting brick, or assisting with concrete pours</li><li>Experience working on scaffolding or lifts</li></ul>Physical Demands<ul><li>Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and climbing</li><li>Working at heights on scaffolding</li><li>Exposure to dust and construction noise</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Consistent full-time hours during active season</li><li>Skill development in a specialized trade</li><li>Opportunity for advancement into masonry apprentice role</li><li>Competitive pay based on performance</li><li>Small crew environment &mdash; no corporate bureaucracy</li><li>40+ hours per week (weather dependent)</li></ul>Who This Is NOT For<ul><li>Individuals looking for temporary &ldquo;in-between&rdquo; work</li><li>Those unwilling to work hard physically</li><li>People who show up late or call off frequently</li></ul>To ApplySubmit your resume and brief description of your construction experience.
