Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking masonry laborer to assist with residential and light commercial masonry and concrete projects. This position supports a lead mason on projects including brick and block work, concrete flatwork, stone installation, repointing, and structural repairs.

Responsibilities
- Mix mortar and concrete to proper consistency
- Transport and stage brick, block, stone, and materials
- Cut brick/block using saws and grinders
- Set up and break down scaffolding and jobsite equipment
- Assist with forming and pouring concrete
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Operate basic power tools (grinder, demo hammer, mixer, etc.)
- Load/unload trucks and manage materials
- Follow direction from lead mason and maintain production pace
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 80+ lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality (no chronic call-outs)
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
- Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Willingness to learn masonry techniques and construction fundamentals
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- 1+ year construction or masonry experience
- Experience mixing mortar, cutting brick, or assisting with concrete pours
- Experience working on scaffolding or lifts
Physical Demands
- Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and climbing
- Working at heights on scaffolding
- Exposure to dust and construction noise
