Overview:
<div>
Develops layouts, detail drawings and assembly documentation using CAD. Typically involved in multiple projects of low to medium design complexity and will have contact with several departments within Leviton. This position has contacts with virtually all departments within Leviton including Operations, Product Management, Marketing, Manufacturing, QA, Purchasing, and Sales, and occasional contact with outside personnel such as vendors and consultants. Must at all times represent Leviton in a professional manner.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Assist in the development of design concepts Develop layouts, detail drawings, and assembly documentation using the Corporate CAD system
</li><li>Develop other documentation as required such as Bills of Materials and Engineering Change Notification</li><li>
Performs tolerance analyses as applied to form, fit and function of high volume production parts and assemblies as required
</li><li>Work with project teams in the design and development of electronic products that will include working with: Marketing to prepare a complete new product specification Cost departments to complete a new product cost estimate, Prototype shop to check and evaluate new product designs, Quality Assurance to determine product reliability, function and testing parameters, Manufacturing Engineering to determine new tool and assembly requirements, Systems Engineering for the preparation of New Products Bills of Material and Engineering Change Notice documentation
</li><li>In house Test Lab and Agency Approvals Departments leading to new products approvals
</li></ul>Qualifications:<br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Knowledge of design and manufacture of products utilizing high volume production parts and assemblies</li><li>
Knowledge of CAD with experience in solid design
</li><li>Ability to exercise sound and resourceful judgment in analyzing and recommending solutions
</li><li>Ability to think and innovate independently
</li><li>Proficiency with solid model component, assembly and drafting environments, Solidworks preferred
</li><li>Ability to independently lift and carry assemblies up to 45lbs</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
</div>Education &amp; Experience:
<ul><li>High school diploma required Associate's Degree in technically related area preferred
</li><li>Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in consumer product design or electro-mechanical device design

Overview:
<div>
Establish inside sales customer support while leveraging data to assist in sales process for assigned distributors to drive revenue growth. Interact with existing customers, primarily by phone and email. Partner with Electrical Distribution (ED) salesforce with deal execution, internal pricing processes, account inquiries, and communications in a team sales approach.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Assist with pricing and rebate agreements with Regional Sales Director's, ED Sales Representatives, and Centralized Account Representatives.
</li><li>Generate project-based price quotations (RFPs) within Oracle based on alignment with field representative and history of past quotes (BI tool analysis).</li><li>
Support ED salesforce with communications activities (e.g., new product announcements, price sheet updates) for all distributors in sales territory.</li><li>
Provide support with Competitor Cross Referencing and Product Descriptions.</li><li>
Assist with providing submittal packages, product information, and O&amp;M Materials.</li><li>
Develop knowledge of Leviton&rsquo;s Product Lines and their applications in various Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Markets.</li><li>
Assist in Customer updates on RMAs, Order Entry Errors, Order Status, and Production lead times.</li><li>
Support ED Salesforce by logging salesforce activities and CRM updates.</li><li>
Gain an understanding of the Electrical Distribution industry, how they go to market, and their purchasing processes.</li><li>
Assistance with Sample Order Requests, Marketing Materials, and delivery status.</li><li>
Provide support for Customer Claims including deductions, pricing discrepancies, and return orders.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Demonstrated success in prior sales support roles.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written form, and strong ability to build relationships.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to maintain and convey basic knowledge across a wide range of technical products.</li><li>
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.</li><li>
Ability to work in a team environment.</li><li>
Attention to detail.</li><li>
Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI reporting.</li><li>
Experience using Salesforce.com and other CRM.</li></ul>
Education &amp; Experience:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree, technical degree preferred.</li><li>
1-3 years of comparable sales experience inside and/or outside of Leviton with similar products/customers.</li><li>
Preference given to candidates with prior experience in electrical distribution or manufacturing.</li><li>
Possess customer service, relationship-building, and relationship management skills.</li></ul>
