Overview:
This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining works in process for the manufacturing department.
Responsibilities:
- Performs cycle counts and audits and reports results to Supervisor, Production Manager, and MRP Manager

Checks identification and inspection status of Bill of Material (BOM) items. Moves items to point of use or designated storage area

Maintains accurate inventory counts of all phantom component parts and reports and distributes results on standardized spreadsheet

May operate a lift truck (must possess a current Powered Industrial Truck license prior to using) to retrieve and store parts as needed and performs daily inspection according to specified work instructions

May consolidate containers of like parts and moves empty containers to designated storage areas

Maintains cleanliness of work areas

May move properly marked material to non-conforming hold area as instructed by supervision and performs necessary transactions including scrap transactions
- Alerts Quality Assurance (QA) to observed quality concerns

Notifies supervisor, Production Manager, and MRP Manager of observed shortages or problems

Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of in-house power lift certification
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to utilize ERP software proficiently, Oracle preferred

Ability to manage inventories through cycle counting and conduct annual physical inventories
- Ability to analyze data and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Ability to organize and develop methods of inventory tracking

Ability to complete a Powered Industrial Truck training offered by the organization if required

Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, Excel, and Outlook at a basic level

Ability to communicate in verbal and written English
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum one year manufacturing experience
