OVERWIEW.We are seeking a Senior Construction Accountant with strong, hands‑on experience across all core accounting functions within a construction environment. This role requires a highly self‑sufficient professional who can step in quickly, manage complex workflows, and partner effectively with project teams and external stakeholders.Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee general ledger accounting, month‑end close, and financial reporting</li></ul><ul><li>Manage job costing</li></ul><ul><li>Prepare and review AIA pay applications, lien waivers, and construction billing</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable</li></ul><ul><li>Support and process payroll accurately and timely</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and insurance platforms</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with construction accounting standards and internal controls</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Well‑rounded accounting background withconstruction industry experience required</li></ul><ul><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills;bilingual a plus</li></ul><ul><li>Foundation Construction Software (preferred)</li></ul><ul><li>Microsoft Excel and Word</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with multiple general contractor and insurance platforms</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive compensation based on experience</li></ul><ul><li>Stable, collaborative work environment</li></ul><ul><li>Opportunity to play a key role in financial operations</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
