Full-time, Monday&ndash;Friday, Daytime Hours<ul><li>Location: Medfield, MA (on-site at our headquarters)</li><li>Schedule: Monday&ndash;Friday, approximately 7:30 am &ndash; 4:00 pm</li><li>Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience, paid training, 401(k) match, PTO</li></ul>If you love dogs, enjoy solving problems on the fly, and can keep a lot of moving pieces organized, this role is for you.Our team members typically live in towns like Walpole, Norwood, Framingham, Franklin, Dedham, Millis, Medway, Milford, Norfolk, Foxborough, Attleboro and commute in, so if you're in those areas and want a steady full-time operations/admin role in dog care, this is a fit.We&rsquo;re hiring a full-time Operations &amp; Marketing Manager to support growth of our business services while keeping client communication and daily operations running smoothly.<ul><li>Pay: $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience</li><li>Schedule: Monday&ndash;Friday, 7:30 am &ndash; 4:00 pm (no nights, no weekends)</li><li>Benefits: 401(k) match, paid time off, paid training</li></ul>This is not a generic office job. You'll be covering schedules as needed when there is overlap in handlers or walkers out in Medfield, Dover, Sherborn, and Needham, so professional dog-care experience (playgroups, daycare, walking, boarding, or training) and strong dog behavior skills are required.<ul><li>You enjoy running marketing campaigns and creating social content (social media, email, events).</li><li>You&rsquo;re organized and love managing schedules, bookings, and multiple software platforms.</li><li>You can supervise on-premises teams, resolve conflicts, and enforce company policies professionally.</li><li>You have strong client-service skills and can handle account inquiries with empathy and confidentiality.</li><li>You&rsquo;re comfortable with light facilities and vehicle coordination (maintenance, OSHA compliance).</li><li>You can juggle admin tasks, record-keeping, and basic accounting/scheduling duties.</li><li>You have 2&ndash;4 years relevant experience, a clean driving record, and solid communication skills.</li><li>You&rsquo;re adaptable, calm under pressure, and able to flag and document issues clearly for management.</li></ul>About Life&rsquo;s A PoochLife&rsquo;s A Pooch is a locally owned, professional dog care company. If you like thoughtful, professional dog handling and keeping operations organized and on track, you&rsquo;ll fit here.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Oversee creation, implementation, and management of marketing campaigns (social media, email, promotions) and run vendor/marketing tabling events to represent Life&rsquo;s A Pooch professionally</li><li>Supervise support for daily operations and scheduling across Medfield, Dover, Sherborn, and Needham to ensure seamless client service. May include covering schedules as needed.</li><li>Coordinate staff schedules, track time-off requests, and make coverage decisions to maintain proper staffing levels</li><li>Use dog behavior and group management skills to assign safe pairings and supervise on-premises team members during playgroups and walks</li><li>Monitor and respond to time-sensitive staff messages about routes, groups, coverage, and safety issues</li><li>Manage client accounts: respond to inquiries, update records/contracts, handle project updates, and escalated issues when needed</li><li>Update bookings, schedules, and billing across multiple software platforms and support software integrations</li><li>Ensure office, vehicle, and on‑premises equipment meet OSHA safety guidelines; coordinate vehicle maintenance and service schedules</li><li>Enforce company policies and ADA accommodations; address team conflicts fairly and escalate as appropriate</li><li>Provide prompt, courteous customer service with empathy and professionalism while maintaining client confidentiality</li><li>Upload photos/videos to social channels (Instagram Stories) that show safe, well-managed play and support email/social campaigns</li><li>Assist with office and yard organization and cleaning: unpack supplies, coordinate laundry, disinfect equipment/yards, rake/weeding as needed</li><li>Flag, document, and report any client, dog, scheduling, or safety issues to management</li><li>Complete miscellaneous administrative tasks and owner-directed projects as assigned</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>2-4 years of professional administration, customer service, scheduling, operations or similar experience</li><li>At least 6-12 months of professional dog-care experience (daycare, playgroups, walking, boarding, training, or similar)</li><li>Confident reading dog body language and managing basic dog socialization and play</li><li>Extremely reliable: you show up, on time, every day; people can depend on you</li><li>Strong time management and task prioritization skills; comfortable juggling multiple moving parts</li><li>Clear, calm communication skills with clients, staff, and management (phone, text, and email)</li><li>Highly organized and detail-oriented with schedules, notes, and follow-through</li><li>Proficient with Google Workspace and comfortable learning scheduling/billing software</li><li>Comfortable working around dogs and occasionally jumping in as an extra set of hands in playgroups or on routes when needed</li><li>Able to work outdoors in all seasons and lift up to 50 lbs</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license, clean record, and reliable commute to Medfield (most of our team lives in the nearby towns listed above)</li><li>At least 5 years of driving experience</li><li>Able to work Monday&ndash;Friday, 7:30 am &ndash; 4:00 pm</li><li>Pass a background check</li><li>Reliable cell phone for communication</li></ul>Pay &amp; Benefits<ul><li>$30.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience</li><li>Expected 40 hours per week</li><li>Tips and bonus opportunities may be available based on role and performance</li><li>Paid training and ongoing professional development</li><li>401(k) with company match (after eligibility period)</li><li>Paid time off and sick time (after eligibility period)</li><li>Yearly performance-based raises</li><li>Opportunities for advancement within the company</li></ul>How To ApplyTo apply, submit your application with resume through this posting.
