If you are athletic, reliable, and love the outdoors, we want to talk to you.The Mission: You are responsible for the safety and exercise of a pack of dogs during off-site trail adventures. This is a physically demanding role that requires keen observation and total control of dog behavior.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>The Hike: Transport and lead groups of dogs on Austin&rsquo;s trails during the 9 AM &ndash; 3 PM window.</li><li>Pack Leadership: Maintain control and pack harmony at all times.</li><li>Safety First: Ensure every dog is hydrated, safe, and accounted for, rain or shine.</li><li>Professional Reporting: Use the Time To Pet app for GPS tracking and high-quality photo updates for our clients.</li></ul>What You Bring to the Table:<ul><li>Reliability: You are a &quot;boots on the ground&quot; professional. The dogs and the team count on you to show up.</li><li>Stamina: You can handle hiking 3&ndash;6 miles a day, even in the Austin summer heat.</li><li>Vehicle: You must have a reliable, dog-friendly vehicle (SUV/Van/Truck) with working A/C and a clean driving record.</li><li>Experience: Prior professional dog handling, training, or vet tech experience is a major plus.</li></ul>Why Join Us?<ul><li>Competitive, Stable Pay: Starting pay is $19.50/hr. Following a successful 90-day probationary period, pay increases up to $22.75/hr.
