The Lift Shop is Hiring for A Skilled Automotive Customization Technician!Our Lift Technician Position Will Pay $ 25 - $45 an Hour depending on Experience.We are hiring now and accepting interviews in person! If you are looking for a new and exciting Opportunity- We want to chat with You!The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Lift kits, level kits, power steps, bumpers, lighting, wiring, airbags, wheels and tires and more. This role requires high attention to detail with our customer in mind every step of the way.As an Aftermarket Parts Installation Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team, specializing in the detailed installation and maintenance of aftermarket automotive components.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Installs and works on suspensions, alignments, gears, mounting, and balancing wheels and tires following company and manufacturers&rsquo; specifications and standards</li><li>Installs accessories (bumpers, lights, winches, and more)</li><li>Performs alignments on Hunter Hawkeye machine</li><li>Performs inspections of completed repairs and installations to ensure quality of repair and suitability of vehicle for return to service and maintains accurate records</li><li>Communicates professionally and clearly with both internal and external parties</li><li>Navigates computer systems for alignment machines, wheel balancers, and TPS tools (preferred) and to record work order information and access to other information</li><li>Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and development of professional skill set</li><li>Understands and adheres to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules</li><li>Uses appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and additional protection as necessary</li><li>Maintains shop cleanliness and appearance to uphold a safe and secure work environment</li><li>Work with your team to provide excellent customer service</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Demonstrated skills in mount and balance, bed covers, and general installation of Jeep and Truck accessories</li><li>Must possess your own set of tools</li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license with no major violations and have at least five years of driving experience. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and team lift up to 100 lbs.</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and work orders</li><li>Must be able to work scheduled store hours at specific location</li></ul>Preferred qualifications (not required):<ul><li>Proficiency in truck and Jeep minor suspension kits, brakes, general suspension repair, and intermediate installation of accessories</li><li>Displays expertise in IFS, straight axle suspension, alignments, and advanced installation of Jeep and Truck accessories, including wiring lighting accessories, winches, and power steps</li><li>Demonstrates skills in suspension types, electrical work, alignments, and welding. Proficient in replacing ball joints, steering racks, pitman and idler arms, tie-rod ends. Knowledgeable in ring and pinions, axle builds, and drive trains</li><li>ASE Certifications</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>Retail store service department</li><li>Automotive garage with concrete floors, industrial structure, vehicle lifts, workbenches/workstations, stationary and moving vehicles and other automotive workshop facility machinery</li><li>Work includes movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions including balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions</li></ul>This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
