This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day through active caregiving, attentive observation, and personalized assistance.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support</li><li>Monitor patients&rsquo; health by taking vital signs, observing behavior, and reporting changes promptly</li><li>Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy</li><li>Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking to meet dietary needs and preferences</li><li>Support individuals during community outings, appointments, and social activities to promote engagement and independence</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and adherence to safety protocols</li><li>Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident&rsquo;s &lt;PERSON&gt; to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance</li><li>Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and organizational policies</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and team members to develop and follow personalized care plans</li><li>Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to foster a trusting relationship</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience working in assisted living, group home settings, or long-term care environments</li><li>Knowledge of patient care techniques including CPR, first aid, dementia care, Alzheimer&rsquo;s care, memory care, hospice care, autism support, and working with individuals with disabilities</li><li>Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and patient safety oversight</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility assistance</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare teams</li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information</li><li>Experience with medication administration and care plan implementation</li><li>Capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Compassionate attitude combined with patience and resilience in caring for individuals facing complex health challenges</li></ul>Join us in making a positive impact by providing dedicated support that empowers individuals to live fulfilling lives.
