Marketing Manager General ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an energetic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and drive brand growth across multiple channels. In this dynamic role, you will develop and execute innovative marketing strategies, oversee digital campaigns, and collaborate with other project managers to elevate the company&rsquo;s market presence. Your expertise in content creation, multichannel marketing, and data analytics will be essential to engaging our target audiences and achieving business objectives. This is an opportunity for a self-motivated professional passionate about shaping impactful marketing campaigns in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage and update company social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)</li><li>Create and schedule posts, reels, stories, and short-form videos</li><li>Capture high-quality photos and videos at active job sites or completed projects</li><li>Write engaging captions and maintain consistent brand voice</li><li>Monitor comments, messages, and general engagement</li><li>Organize digital content (photos, video clips, project folders)</li><li>Occasionally assist with basic marketing tasks (simple flyers, updating website content, etc.)</li><li>Report monthly on growth, engagement, and content performance</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization</li><li>Strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices</li><li>Ability to take clear, well-framed photos and videos</li><li>Reliable transportation for travel to job sites</li><li>Strong written communication skills</li><li>Basic knowledge of Canva or similar collaborative design tools</li><li>Ability to oversee marketing tasks independently and make informed decisions</li><li>Lead and own the overall marketing vision, shaping strategy and direction</li><li>Must be comfortable visiting job sites to capture content</li></ul>Working hours and location<ul><li>Hybrid Work Location / in-office and remote</li><li>10 - 20 working hours per week</li><li>Heavily determinant on event demand</li><li>Attend monthly Marketing meeting with project management team in office</li><li>Lighting &amp; Sound Co.&rsquo;s warehouse is located in eastern Henrico, VA, near Richmond International Airport.</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Hourly rate of $25.67 - $30.91 per hour dependent on experience with overtime paid after 40 hours per week</li><li>Company-provided laptop and digital camera</li><li>Company-provided vehicle when traveling to client jobsites</li></ul>Weekly Responsibilities <ul><li>Capture content to be used for marketing collateral and social media from jobsites and warehouse operations</li><li>Author and post content to social media accounts</li><li>Ensure receipt of photo galleries from past events and upload them to the internal photo gallery. Tag photos with search terms for future reference.
