Overview Join our team as a Literacy AmeriCorps Paid Service Tutor and make a meaningful impact in your community. In this role, you&rsquo;ll support adult learners in building essential reading, writing, and comprehension skills&mdash;helping them achieve personal and professional goals. You&rsquo;ll create engaging learning experiences using innovative teaching strategies and technology, while also developing valuable skills in curriculum design and program delivery.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide individualized literacy instruction to adult learners.</li><li>Develop and adapt lesson materials to meet diverse learning needs.</li><li>Support online learning through learning management systems and digital tools.</li><li>Monitor learner progress and adjust instruction to support success.</li><li>Collaborate with team members on curriculum development and program initiatives.</li><li>Lead engaging, inclusive sessions that reflect best practices in adult education.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience working with children, tutoring, or working with adult learners preferred</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to create clear, effective instructional materials.</li><li>Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks.</li></ul>Why Join Us?
