Job Overview As a Childcare Provider, you will play a vital role in nurturing and supporting the development of children in a safe and engaging environment. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care, fostering educational experiences, and ensuring the well-being of each child under your supervision.What you&rsquo;ll do<ul><li>Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities to promote social interaction and learning.</li><li>Implement age-appropriate activities that support childhood development, including arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor play.</li><li>Provide individualized care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional support.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized environment that is conducive to learning and exploration.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child&rsquo;s progress, behavior management strategies, and any concerns.</li><li>Assist children with daily routines such as feeding, diaper changes, and nap times while promoting independence.</li><li>Collaborate with other caregivers to create a cohesive approach to childcare that meets the needs of all children.</li><li>Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing training opportunities.</li></ul>Basic qualifications<ul><li>Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or as a nanny but not a must.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.</li><li>First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification within the first month of employment.</li><li>Able to pass local and state background checks.</li></ul>Preferred qualifications<ul><li>Background in early childhood education or related field.</li><li>Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs.</li><li>Familiarity with toddler care practices and preschool experience.</li></ul>Why you&rsquo;ll love it here We are dedicated to creating an enriching environment for both our team members and the families we serve.
