Job Overview
As a Childcare Provider, you will play a vital role in nurturing and supporting the development of children in a safe and engaging environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will create a positive atmosphere where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care, fostering educational experiences, and ensuring the well-being of each child under your supervision.

What you’ll do

  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities to promote social interaction and learning.
  • Implement age-appropriate activities that support childhood development, including arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor play.
  • Provide individualized care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional support.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment that is conducive to learning and exploration.
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child’s progress, behavior management strategies, and any concerns.
  • Assist children with daily routines such as feeding, diaper changes, and nap times while promoting independence.
  • Collaborate with other caregivers to create a cohesive approach to childcare that meets the needs of all children.
  • Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing training opportunities.

Basic qualifications

  • Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or as a nanny but not a must.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
  • First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification within the first month of employment.
  • Able to pass local and state background checks.

Preferred qualifications

  • Background in early childhood education or related field.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs.
  • Familiarity with toddler care practices and preschool experience.
