Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Aftercare Teacher to join our faith-based educational team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children after school hours, supporting their social, emotional, and academic development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence young minds through engaging lesson planning, behavior management, and personalized support tailored to each child's needs.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to promote holistic childhood development.</li><li>Manage classroom activities efficiently while maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers.</li><li>Support children with special education needs through early intervention strategies and individualized lesson plans.</li><li>Utilize effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct and social skills among students.</li><li>Conduct regular assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with parents and caregivers by providing updates on children&rsquo;s development, progress, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom behavior.</li><li>Plan and execute engaging tutoring sessions or physical activities that enhance learning experiences beyond traditional classroom settings.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools is highly preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse student needs effectively.</li><li>Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational programs aligned with childhood development standards.</li><li>Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention techniques, and literacy education strategies.</li><li>Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered teaching philosophies is a plus.</li><li>Strong communication skills to interact confidently with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.</li><li>Previous experience in teaching physical education or tutoring young learners is advantageous.
