In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing space for children to explore their interests, develop new skills, and build confidence. Your dedication will help foster a positive atmosphere that encourages growth, curiosity, and teamwork, making a lasting impact on the lives of students and their families.Responsibilities<ul><li>Supervise and manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children of various ages. </li><li>Implement educational programs that promote childhood development, early childhood education, and social-emotional learning. </li><li>Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain order and encourage positive behavior among students. </li><li>Provide support with homework help, tutoring sessions, or enrichment activities tailored to individual student needs. </li><li>Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavioral updates. </li><li>Assist with daily childcare routines such as snack time, outdoor play, and rest periods while ensuring safety protocols are followed. </li><li>Apply first aid skills promptly when necessary and follow health guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children. </li><li>Collaborate with team members to plan special events or theater performances that foster creativity and teamwork among students. </li><li>Incorporate elements of Christian counseling or values-based guidance when appropriate to support holistic child development.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or babysitting is highly valued. </li><li>Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies. </li><li>Experience in classroom management and implementing educational activities that cater to diverse learning styles. </li><li>Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure safety during all activities. </li><li>Background in special education or working with children with special needs is a plus. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members in a collaborative environment. </li><li>Passion for early childhood education, sports coaching, theater arts, or childcare roles that promote active engagement and growth.
