Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children of various ages.
• Implement educational programs that promote childhood development, early childhood education, and social-emotional learning.
• Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain order and encourage positive behavior among students.
• Provide support with homework help, tutoring sessions, or enrichment activities tailored to individual student needs.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavioral updates.
• Assist with daily childcare routines such as snack time, outdoor play, and rest periods while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Apply first aid skills promptly when necessary and follow health guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children.
• Collaborate with team members to plan special events or theater performances that foster creativity and teamwork among students.
• Incorporate elements of Christian counseling or values-based guidance when appropriate to support holistic child development.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or babysitting is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
• Experience in classroom management and implementing educational activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure safety during all activities.
• Background in special education or working with children with special needs is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members in a collaborative environment.
• Passion for early childhood education, sports coaching, theater arts, or childcare roles that promote active engagement and growth.
