<div>RN Director of Subacute

SHIFT: Full-Time

RATE: $36 - $39/hr. (depending on experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION: 
The successful candidate will have a variety of duties, including but not limited to:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Directing, coordinating, and supervising the activities of all nursing staff engaged in a designated unit</li>
<li>Authority, responsibility, and accountability for the overall management of residents in a designated unit</li>
<li>Responsible for transmitting each unit's staff concerns to the appropriate department supervisor.</li>
<li>Maintenance of Resident Care Plans and the overall management of resident care</li>
</ul>
REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>Degree from an accredited school of nursing</li>
<li>Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York required</li>
<li>Must have a minimum of one year of experience in nursing service administration. Additional education or experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.</li>
<li>Must possess knowledge of state, federal, and local long-term care regulations.</li>
<li>Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable</li>
<li>Strong customer service skills and compassion</li>
</ul>
