Our work blends thoughtful functionality with elevated aesthetics, creating spaces that feel timeless, collected, and deeply personal.We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our growing team &mdash; someone who can confidently manage projects, collaborate with trades and contractors, and deliver exceptional experiences for high-end clientele.The RoleThis role is ideal for someone with at least 7+ years of residential interior design experience, ideally within the luxury market.You will manage projects from concept through installation, serving as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and vendors. The ideal candidate combines strong creative vision with technical expertise and exceptional communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign &amp; Creative Direction<ul><li>Develop full-home design concepts including space planning, finish selections, furnishings, lighting, and styling</li><li>Create mood boards, presentations, and detailed design documentation</li><li>Produce elevations and technical drawings to clearly communicate design intent</li><li>Collaborate with third-party rendering partners by providing organized material selections, CAD drawings, and specifications for 3D renderings and visualizationsBalance beauty and function &mdash; ensuring homes are not only beautiful but livable and practical</li><li>Maintain alignment with the firm&rsquo;s elevated, California-inspired aesthetic</li></ul>Technical Documentation<ul><li>Produce elevations, millwork details, and design drawings as needed</li><li>Create and manage CAD drawings (AutoCAD preferred; proficiency is a strong plus)</li><li>Prepare drawing packages and materials for contractors and trades</li><li>Review shop drawings and construction documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with design intent</li></ul>Project Management &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Manage projects from concept to completion</li><li>Work closely with contractors, architects, and tradespeople to ensure design intent is executed properlyAttend site visits and construction meetings</li><li>Manage timelines and proactively problem-solve on-site challenges</li></ul>Client Experience<ul><li>Serve as a confident and polished point of contact for high-end clientele</li><li>Present design concepts clearly and persuasively</li><li>Communicate proactively and professionally throughout the project lifecycle</li><li>Build trust and long-term client relationships</li></ul>Vendor &amp; Procurement Management<ul><li>Source furniture, materials, textiles, and custom piecesCoordinate with vendors and workrooms</li><li>Oversee procurement, tracking, and installation logistics</li><li>Ensure quality control during delivery and install</li></ul>Team Leadership &amp; Mentorship<ul><li>Support, guide, and mentor junior designers across projects</li><li>Provide direction on design development, sourcing, and documentation</li><li>Review work to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with design intent</li><li>Contribute to a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team environment</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum of 7+ years of residential interior design experience (luxury experience preferred)</li><li>A collaborative team player who thrives in a growing, design-driven studio environment</li><li>Strong portfolio demonstrating full-home or large-scale residential projects</li><li>Experience producing elevations and detailed technical design drawings</li><li>Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD preferred; SketchUp or similar software a plus)</li><li>Experience collaborating with rendering teams or third-party visualization partners</li><li>Proven experience working directly with contractors and trades throughout construction</li><li>Deep knowledge of materials, finishes, custom millwork, and furniture specification</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Experience mentoring or supporting junior designers is a plus</li><li>Based in San Diego and available for in-person site visits</li></ul>Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
