Creditor's Rights firm seeks entry-level Attorney for high volume practice. License to practice law in South Carolina is required. Attorney will need to appear for in-person court around the Greenville Metro Area and telephonic/virtual appearances statewide. Because this is an entry-level position, the candidate will be trained as appropriate. You are not expected to know everything but will be expected to learn and grow into the role.
Duties include:<ul><li> 
Negotiating with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases.</li><li>Legal Research</li><li>Handling a caseload and providing analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks.</li><li>Traveling to various courts within South Carolina as legal representation in court hearings and other legal proceedings.</li><li>Working with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results.</li><li>Treating all consumers/defendants with fairness and respect while creating fair payment solutions that fit their financial situation.</li><li>Reviewing and drafting Legal Pleadings and Settlement Agreements</li></ul>

Requirements:
<ul><li>J.D. from accredited law school with license to practice in South Carolina</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Federal and State laws.</li><li>Skilled in the ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations.</li><li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Exemplary oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Outstanding time management skills with the ability to work in a deadline driven environment.</li></ul>
Types of experience/skills that would make a candidate stand out:<ul><li>Spanish fluency.</li><li>Prior experience in Creditor&rsquo;s Rights, Bankruptcy or representing Debtors.</li><li>Litigation experience.</li></ul></div>
