Description:

Creditor's Rights firm seeks entry-level Attorney for high volume practice. License to practice law in South Carolina is required. Attorney will need to appear for in-person court around the Greenville Metro Area and telephonic/virtual appearances statewide. Because this is an entry-level position, the candidate will be trained as appropriate. You are not expected to know everything but will be expected to learn and grow into the role.

Duties include:

• 
  Negotiating with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases.
• Legal Research
• Handling a caseload and providing analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks.
• Traveling to various courts within South Carolina as legal representation in court hearings and other legal proceedings.
• Working with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results.
• Treating all consumers/defendants with fairness and respect while creating fair payment solutions that fit their financial situation.
• Reviewing and drafting Legal Pleadings and Settlement Agreements

• J.D. from accredited law school with license to practice in South Carolina
• In-depth knowledge of Federal and State laws.
• Skilled in the ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
• Outstanding time management skills with the ability to work in a deadline driven environment.

Types of experience/skills that would make a candidate stand out:

• Spanish fluency.
• Prior experience in Creditor’s Rights, Bankruptcy or representing Debtors.
• Litigation experience.
