Department: Report ProductionLocation: Full-time remote position, with required travel to Grayslake, IL headquarters 1-2 times per yearClassification: Non-ExemptThe Report Production Assistant is a member of the team responsible for final review and production of our professional reports. Performing this position requires multi-tasking, flexibility, and a positive work attitude with the ability to work well with others. The work is fast-paced and requires strong attention to detail, while meeting tight deadlines.Requirements: <ul><li>Extensive knowledge of English mechanics, grammar, and usage.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of formatting in Microsoft Word and Excel.</li><li>Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Knowledge of standard construction terminology highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to work with others in a team environment.</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Proofreading, building and issuing reports to clients.</li><li>Invoicing projects (experience using Quickbooks a plus, but not required).</li><li>Archiving reports and projects.</li><li>Transcribing photo caption documents for Architects/Engineers.</li><li>Generating templates for projects.</li><li>Updating distribution information for projects by directly communicating with clients.</li><li>Typing handwritten reports when needed.</li></ul>Education and/or Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required.</li><li>One year of proofreading experience preferred.</li></ul>Physical Demands:Regularly required to sit for long periods of time; use hands and fingers; and talk and hear.Work Environment:Work from home with the exception of all-staff meetings.Pay:From $18.50/hour.
