Responsibilities<ul><li>Coordinate daily dispatching activities for freight and fleet management using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine.</li><li>Utilize GPS and GIS technologies to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and improve delivery times.</li><li>Manage shipping &amp; receiving schedules, ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing of shipments via AS400 systems.</li><li>Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, warehouse teams, and customers through multi-line phone systems while maintaining professional phone etiquette.</li><li>Support transportation planning by analyzing data related to supply chain flows, freight movements, and logistics operations to identify efficiencies.</li><li>Assist with fleet management tasks, including tracking vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinating dispatching efforts for 3PL providers.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of shipments, dispatch logs, incident reports, and other operational documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy. Qualifications</li><li>Strong analysis skills with experience in transportation management systems like Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms.</li><li>Proficiency in GPS, GIS mapping tools, and transportation planning software to support route optimization and fleet tracking.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly over phone calls and written reports.</li><li>Skilled in data entry with high attention to detail; familiarity with AS400, SyteLine, and other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is preferred.</li><li>Experience in freight coordination, shipping &amp; receiving procedures, or logistics roles within a 3PL environment is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times.</li><li>Basic typing skills combined with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
