Company Overview: Logan Smith Machine Co., Inc. designs and manufactures products for the high-performance automobile racing industry, including drag racing, sprint cars, road racing, and Street Outlaws/No Prep Kings. All of our products are engineered and produced at our facility in Rocklin, CA.Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Management &amp; Administration<ul><li>Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and organization</li><li>Develop, update, and maintain office policies and procedures</li><li>Provide administrative support to leadership, including the CEO</li><li>Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner</li><li>Manage incoming website and email communications</li></ul>Accounting &amp; Order Processing<ul><li>Generate invoices in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and timely billing</li><li>Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions</li><li>Receive and record customer payments accurately</li><li>Enter and process customer orders, including shipping details</li></ul>Shipping &amp; Production Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate workflow between office and assembly departments</li><li>Oversee order fulfillment from packaging through shipment</li><li>Create shipping labels and ensure accurate shipment processing</li></ul>Purchasing &amp; Inventory Management<ul><li>Purchase office supplies, shop materials, and tooling</li><li>Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing when appropriate</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed</li></ul>Customer Support<ul><li>Provide basic product support and document customer applications</li><li>Follow up with tool repair customers and manage related orders</li></ul>Marketing &amp; Social Media<ul><li>Assist with social media management (Shopify, Facebook, Instagram)</li><li>Create and update marketing materials</li><li>Coordinate logistics and materials for trade shows</li></ul>Team Collaboration<ul><li>Work closely with shop employees to support a collaborative and productive environment</li></ul>Optional (Include if applicable)<ul><li>Process employee timecards and assist with payroll preparation in accordance with company policies</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of office management or administrative experience</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>High attention to detail and problem-solving ability</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment</li><li>Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred</li><li>Familiarity with social media platforms is a plus</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Additional Requirements<ul><li>Ability to reliably commute to Rocklin, CA 95677</li><li>This is an in-person position</li></ul>Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which will be conducted upon offer of employment.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have experience using QuickBooks Desktop in a professional setting?</li><li>Have you used AI tools (such as ChatGPT, automation tools, or similar) in your work?</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Rocklin, CA 95677 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
