☕ Barista &ndash; Job OverviewJoin our dynamic caf&eacute; team as a Barista, where energy, precision, and hospitality drive every guest interaction. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality beverages, maintaining operational standards, and creating a welcoming, fast-paced environment that enhances the overall customer experience.This is a paid position offering hands-on experience in food and beverage operations, customer service, and POS systems.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with consistency and attention to detail</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service, including order-taking and personalized recommendations</li><li>Operate POS systems (e.g., Toast) for accurate order entry and payment processing</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization across all caf&eacute; and prep areas</li><li>Follow all food safety and handling procedures to ensure compliance and quality</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately, including balancing and basic calculations</li><li>Support light food preparation (snacks, simple menu items) as needed</li><li>Address customer needs promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior barista or food service experience preferred but not required</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems (Toast experience is a plus)</li><li>Strong time management and ability to perform in a high-volume environment</li><li>Basic math and cash-handling accuracy</li><li>Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices</li><li>Positive attitude with strong customer service orientation</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Fast-paced, high-energy caf&eacute; setting</li><li>Team-oriented culture with growth opportunities</li><li>Customer-focused environment requiring adaptability and efficiency</li></ul>Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
