Join our dynamic café team as a Barista, where energy, precision, and hospitality drive every guest interaction. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality beverages, maintaining operational standards, and creating a welcoming, fast-paced environment that enhances the overall customer experience.

This is a paid position offering hands-on experience in food and beverage operations, customer service, and POS systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with consistency and attention to detail
• Provide exceptional customer service, including order-taking and personalized recommendations
• Operate POS systems (e.g., Toast) for accurate order entry and payment processing
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across all café and prep areas
• Follow all food safety and handling procedures to ensure compliance and quality
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including balancing and basic calculations
• Support light food preparation (snacks, simple menu items) as needed
• Address customer needs promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience

Qualifications

• Prior barista or food service experience preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems (Toast experience is a plus)
• Strong time management and ability to perform in a high-volume environment
• Basic math and cash-handling accuracy
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Positive attitude with strong customer service orientation
