Status: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday - Friday, daytime shifts plus rotating Saturday mornings

The CSR I provides front-line customer service and supports daily branch operations by processing transactions, assisting with account servicing, and resolving routine customer inquiries. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and a positive customer experience while supporting team members and maintaining strong operational controls.
Primary Duties:
<ul><li>Deliver prompt, professional customer service by handling in-person and phone inquiries, identifying needs, and providing accurate information or referrals
</li><li>Process routine financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, cashier&rsquo;s checks, and night deposits with a high degree of accuracy
</li><li>Perform account servicing activities such as basic account opening/closing, maintenance requests, and digital banking support (e.g., password resets, bill pay assistance)
</li><li>Maintain cash controls by balancing teller drawers, processing vault transactions, monitoring cash limits, and identifying counterfeit currency
</li><li>Support branch operations by processing mail transactions, completing logs and reports (e.g., CTRs, cashier&rsquo;s checks), and assisting with wire preparation and document processing
</li><li>Assist with ATM and safe deposit box operations, including balancing, replenishment, customer access, and basic maintenance coordination
</li><li>Educate customers on bank products and services and identify opportunities to refer or cross-sell appropriate solutions
</li><li>Support team effectiveness by assisting with training or answering questions for less experienced staff
</li><li>Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML, and report suspicious activity
</li><li>Complete training required by management</li><li>
Perform additional duties as assigned to support branch operations</li></ul><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required
</li><li>1+ year of customer service, cash handling, or banking experience preferred
</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing and recordkeeping
</li><li>Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
</li><li>Basic proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn banking software
</li><li>Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly</li></ul>
