In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment. Your expertise will help support operations, special projects, and general facilities maintenance. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong repair facilities background. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering top-tier service across all facets of facility management.Key Responsibilities:Facilities Maintenance<ul><li>Troubleshoot and repair equipment using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.</li><li>Manage facilities maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.</li><li>Supervise or assist with subcontractors or team members during complex repairs or projects, demonstrating leadership and coordination skills.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of continuous improvement in facilities management.</li><li>Proven experience in facilities maintenance</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and building infrastructure.</li><li>Experience supervising or leading teams or subcontractors in maintenance settings.</li><li>Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Flexibility in scheduling, including occasional evening, weekend, and holiday hours, is required.Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor and/or associate degree in business administration, facility management, project management, or a related field; equivalent professional or life experience considered.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management, operations, project coordination, or related field (nonprofit experience preferred).</li><li>Proven management experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance environments with supervisory responsibilities</li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a safety-first culture</li><li>Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully completing complex projects on time and within budget</li><li>Knowledge of maintenance management practices</li><li>Valid Ohio driver&rsquo;s license and reliable, insured transportation.</li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Ability to successfully pass a background check.</li><li>Strong conflict resolution and communication skills.</li><li>Understanding of trauma-informed care principles and commitment to applying them in all settings.</li><li>Dedication to the mission of Lorain County Safe Harbor, including equality, empowerment, and social change.</li></ul>Lorain County Safe Harbor is an Equal Opportunity EmployerBi-lingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
