Job Title: Manager, Strategic Sourcing

GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
The Strategic Sourcing Manager will develop and execute a best-in-class strategic sourcing function to leverage market knowledge, drive effective supplier negotiations and optimization, while developing predictable and industry leading commodity plans, to advance total cost of ownership (TCO) cost modeling while reducing supplier risks. This role will be a hands-on leader with a team that will be able to independently develop sourcing strategy and conduct sourcing initiatives for a variety of direct and indirect categories for a heavy manufacturing and service organization. Additional focus on optimization of internal sourcing processes, workflows and interfaces to reduce time of delivery and costs in support of corporate objectives. This dynamic leader will be expected to deliver value and competitive advantage to the business as measured by customer satisfaction, project execution, value improvement, innovation, and other areas such as risk mitigation, where applicable.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Leadership &amp; Talent Development of Strategic Sourcing Function<ul><li>
Design and execute an end-to-end roadmap for Strategic Sourcing on direct/indirect spend for major commodities including opportunity analysis, strategy development, evaluation, and SRM for Loram.</li><li>
Lead a team of Sourcing professionals to achieve clear, high attainable standards and goals including year over year cost reductions while ensuring compliance with company legal and risk guidelines.</li><li>
Develop, execute, and maintain strategic sourcing related policies and enforce compliance of policies.</li><li>
Establish mutual KPI goals with functional leaders that align strategic sourcing goals to business needs.</li></ul>
Operational Excellence<ul><li>
Develop, execute, and maintain the annual strategic sourcing plans including preparation of supply and demand profiles, and measurement of department performance against standards and benchmarks.</li><li>
Align Loram practices with best-in-class Strategic Sourcing standards. Lead critical sourcing events and strategic sourcing projects to deliver value to Loram.</li><li>
Identify and achieve year-over-year cost reduction strategies by leveraging market knowledge, industry trends, supplier optimization, predictable pricing, and TCO modeling (price, cost, demand &amp; value).</li><li>
Influence relevant business functional decisions throughout the company to achieve the highest level of contribution to profit, growth, and competitive advantage utilizing leading Sourcing principles.</li></ul>
Sourcing Process<ul><li>
Execute, leverage, and deploy sourcing levers across all spend categories to create a competitive advantage for Loram and deliver innovative business solutions.</li><li>
Lead all aspects of supplier negotiations with internal business partners to draft and execute contracts that protect the business interests of Loram, while providing the best overall value.</li><li>
Oversee and advise on contract structure, Terms and Conditions, and performance-based contracting with Suppliers.</li><li>
Implement joint process improvement programs with strategic suppliers by assessing the success of current processes and programs; and identifies opportunities for improvement.</li><li>
Influence suppliers' manufacturing processes, technology decisions, and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for both organizations by leveraging the growth of Loram&rsquo;s spend.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Experience:
<ul><li>Minimum 8 years&rsquo; experience in increasingly broader procurement/sourcing roles.</li><li>
Minimum 7 years&rsquo; leadership within a Procurement/Sourcing function.</li><li>
Experience developing and leading Strategic Sourcing functional strategies.</li></ul>
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>
Demonstrated skill in developing and executing SRM and leading complex negotiations to successful outcomes.</li><li>
Ability to work with all levels in organization including legal counsel to negotiate contract terms and conditions.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including the ability to influence all levels of internal and external organizations through effective communication, presentation, and persuasive positioning.</li><li>
A proven track record of cost reduction and productivity improvements; ability to motivate and drive change while building solid relationships with internal clients and external Suppliers.</li></ul>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
Masters is a plus. Professional Certification (CPM/CSPM/APICS) is strongly preferred.</li><li>
Highly proficient in all Microsoft applications, including advanced PowerPoint skill (Building high quality decks), general ERP systems (IFS), Six Sigma and or LEAN certified.</li><li>

The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting Loram&rsquo;s Sales and Marketing department in the development and implementation of its marketing and business development plans. This will be accomplished through developing, maintaining, and expanding marketing channels and methodologies to railroads worldwide.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Proposal Management<ul><li>
Assist in the development and management of proposals and a proposal content management system.</li><li>
Perform detailed analysis of solicitation documents (i.e. RFP, RFQ, SOW), and assist in the development of the proposal plan including the proposal schedule, proposal outline, compliance matrix, version control and information sharing, and review cycles.</li><li>
Collaborate with engineering, project management, operations, finance, etc. to compile the technical and cost components of the proposal.</li><li>
Collaborate with legal and Contracts Analysts to ensure compliance and to develop customer terms and conditions.</li><li>
Compile proposal supporting documents including financials (pricing history, P&amp;Ls, cost estimate), summary of proposal, project definition, and other relevant information.</li><li>
Manage proposal approval process.</li></ul>
Marketing Analytics, Information Management, and Business Development<ul><li>
Summarize data to include anticipated sales volumes, market share, trends, forecast, correlations, and other factors that would promote the marketing and success of new and existing products. Maintain a knowledgebase of equipment, market, and customer-related information.</li><li>
Perform market research as directed by marketing management and self-initiated in support of the creation of value propositions for service and sale offerings.</li><li>
Monitor industry trends for opportunities, customer quarterly results, and maintenance of way and capital expenditure budgets.</li><li>
Prepare weekly and monthly marketing activity reports for marketing management.</li><li>
Assist with managing a (CRM) Customer Relationship Management System</li></ul>
Other Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Assist in maintaining the company website and social media platforms with accurate and current information, pictures, videos, etc., and ensure that the site is site up and running.</li></ul>

The Global Logistics Specialist will be the subject matter expert for global freight and logistics for all Loram locations worldwide. Additionally, the Global Logistics Specialist will work diligently to ensure that documentation, compliance, and logistics functions are executed professionally, timely, and proficiently.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Functional &amp; Technical Skills<ul><li>
Executes the timely delivery of goods and documents, requiring accuracy, understanding and concise proof-reading to successfully support delivery of goods to the customers</li><li>
Serves as liaison between internal customer base and external logistics providers, providing quotes, arranging freight, communicating logistics protocols, and providing instructions to customers and logistics partners</li><li>
Monitor, track and communicate shipment status for all machine movement and customer orders</li><li>
Ensure on time delivery throughout the logistics process</li><li>
