This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your customer service expertise while honing your skills in food and beverage service.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour.</li><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and seat patrons efficiently to maximize comfort and flow.</li><li>Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.</li><li>Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties during shifts.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere in nightclubs or elegant settings in fine dining environments while maintaining professionalism at all times.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience working in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls is highly preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering and cash handling is a plus.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, energetic attitude.</li><li>Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.</li><li>Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.</li><li>Experience serving in fine dining or catering settings is advantageous; banquet experience is also valued.</li><li>Knowledge of the food industry trends such as brewing or beverage pairing enhances your ability to engage guests effectively.
