Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
<ul><li>Examine specifications of order using blueprints, drawings, and/or work orders, to determine characteristics of finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.</li><li>Set up and operate fiber laser to cut assigned parts.</li><li>Load programs and raw materials onto machine and adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately.</li><li>Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance and repairs on machine.</li><li>Examine work piece visually, by touch, or using tape rule, calipers, or gauges to ensure product meets desired standards.</li></ul> 
</div>Required Education and Experience:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>
Two or more years of actual fiber laser operations.</li><li>
Knowledge of tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.</li><li>
Knowledge of machines such as press brake is a plus.</li><li>
Basic repair and maintenance knowledge.</li><li>
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the fabrication of sheet metal products.</li><li>
At least eighteen years of age.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul><li>Manual dexterity and standing for extended periods of time.</li><li>
Adhere to all PPE requirements.</li><li>
Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.</li><li>
Visual acuity to read printed and electronic documents.</li><li>
Hearing capacity to receive, perceive and react to common machine shop auditory stimuli.</li><li>
Lifting and/or exerting of force up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 20 pounds of lifting/force constantly to move objects.</li></ul>
