We are seeking hard-working, friendly and dependable Cashiers and Baristas to add to our front of house staff! As a member of our team, you will play a key role in welcoming our customers, making craft specialty drinks, and keeping our environment clean and inviting.If you enjoy working around people, love a fast paced environment and delivering exceptional customer service we look forward to hearing from you!Hours are 8am-8pm with shifts being either 7:30am - 2pm, or 2pm - closeMUST BE ABLE TO WORK AFTERNOONS AND WEEKENDS (SAT. + SUN.)Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering recommendations.</li><li>Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.</li><li>Maintaining a clean space for customers while they dine as well as maintaining clean work stations that are up to health code guidelines.</li><li>Learning how to safely operate an espresso machine and crafting quality specialty drinks.</li><li>Preparing and making some of our smaller menu items.</li><li>Operate a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately handling customer transactions and maintaining cash handling records.</li><li>Manage and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the store.</li><li>Work effectively with other team members to ensure seamless operations and provide support as needed.</li></ul>Experience: *Previous experience preferred but not required*<ul><li>Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in customer service.</li><li>Knowledge of food industry standards and best practices.</li><li>Knowledge of how to operate an espresso machine and make specialty coffee drinks.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Ability to work and adapt to a quick-paced environment and keep a good attitude under pressure.</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork mentality.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.</li><li>Ability to lift and move heavy objects as well as be moving on your feet for long periods of time.</li><li>Excellent people skills with a desire to build relationships with coworkers and customers.</li><li>Desire to learn and grow as a Barista or Cashier.</li><li>Availability to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.</li><li>Ability to receive coaching.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Required)</li><li>Night Shift (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Auburn Hills, MI 48326 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Auburn Hills, MI 48326: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
