Barista/Cashier

We are seeking hard-working, friendly and dependable Cashiers and Baristas to add to our front of house staff! As a member of our team, you will play a key role in welcoming our customers, making craft specialty drinks, and keeping our environment clean and inviting.

Hours are 8am-8pm with shifts being either 7:30am - 2pm, or 2pm - close

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AFTERNOONS AND WEEKENDS (SAT. + SUN.)

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering recommendations.
• Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Maintaining a clean space for customers while they dine as well as maintaining clean work stations that are up to health code guidelines.
• Learning how to safely operate an espresso machine and crafting quality specialty drinks.
• Preparing and making some of our smaller menu items.
• Operate a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately handling customer transactions and maintaining cash handling records.
• Manage and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the store.
• Work effectively with other team members to ensure seamless operations and provide support as needed.

Experience: *Previous experience preferred but not required*

• Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in customer service.
• Knowledge of food industry standards and best practices.
• Knowledge of how to operate an espresso machine and make specialty coffee drinks.

• Desire to learn and grow as a Barista or Cashier.
• Availability to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to receive coaching.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
