</p></div><p></p><div><p><b>Job Description:</b> Lumbee group is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and provide exceptional patient care while maintaining radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
</p></div><p></p><div><p><b>Requirements:
</b></p></div><ul><li><p>Ability to operate Nuclear Medicine equipment required.
</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Keyboard Patient Registration and Sieman Software required.
</p></li><li><p>Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology/Nuclear Medicine program required.
</p></li><li><p>NMTCB or ARRT certification required.
</p></li><li><p>Kentucky State certification required.
</p></li><li><p>BLS Required
</p></li></ul><p></p><div><p><b>Responsibilities:</b>
</p></div><ul><li><p>Perform venipuncture and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required.
</p></li><li><p>Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
</p></li><li><p>Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures and transmit images to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
</p></li><li><p>Prepare patients by reviewing questionnaires, medical history, and required documentation.
</p></li><li><p>Educate patients and their families about procedures and answer questions.
</p></li><li><p>Complete radiation safety documentation and equipment quality control/testing.
</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate patient records and exam documentation.
</p></li><li><p>Coordinate patient scheduling with other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
</p></li><li><p>Participate in the on-call rotation to provide 24-hour departmental coverage as scheduled.
</p></li><li><p>Maintain inventory and supplies while promoting cost-effective use of departmental resources.
</p></li><li><p>Assist with orientation and training of new staff as assigned.
</p></li><li><p>Follow all infection control, safety, confidentiality (HIPAA), and hospital policies.
</p></li><li><p>Perform additional duties as assigned.
</p></li></ul><p></p><div><p><b>Skills
</b></p></div><ul><li><p>Experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures independently.
</p></li><li><p>Venipuncture and radiopharmaceutical administration.
</p></li><li><p>Experience with PACS image management.
</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of radiation safety practices and equipment quality control.
</p></li><li><p>Experience using Siemens Nuclear Medicine software.
</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with electronic patient registration systems.
</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and patient education skills.</p></li></ul></div>
