LUX Eye Care is currently seeking a confident, highly motivated individual with strong customer service skills to join our Optical Team. Our Optical Specialists are extremely patient focused, working one-on-one with patients to assess their eyewear and visual needs. We are looking for an outgoing individual with a positive attitude, exceptional attention to detail, a drive for practice-focused success and a passion for fashion. If you are this person wanting this to be your career, we would love to hear from you.Duties include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Utilize Point of Sale and EMR software to input patient eyewear orders.</li><li>Educate patients of frame and lens options</li><li>Verify correctness of Rx in prescription eyewear received from lab.</li><li>Operate other optical equipment to facilitate manufacture of eyewear.</li><li>Troubleshoot eyewear to eliminate patient concerns and adjust accordingly.</li><li>Demonstrate a working knowledge of opticianry.</li><li>Maintain appearance of the optical.</li><li>Evaluate and manage patient concerns with any issues concerning eyewear.</li></ul>LUX is a locally owned full-service optometry office located in Matthews, NC.
