Optical Sales Associate

LUX Eye Care is currently seeking a confident, highly motivated individual with strong customer service skills to join our Optical Team. Our Optical Specialists are extremely patient focused, working one-on-one with patients to assess their eyewear and visual needs. We are looking for an outgoing individual with a positive attitude, exceptional attention to detail, a drive for practice-focused success and a passion for fashion. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Utilize Point of Sale and EMR software to input patient eyewear orders.
• Educate patients of frame and lens options
• Verify correctness of Rx in prescription eyewear received from lab.
• Operate other optical equipment to facilitate manufacture of eyewear.
• Troubleshoot eyewear to eliminate patient concerns and adjust accordingly.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of opticianry.
• Maintain appearance of the optical.
• Evaluate and manage patient concerns with any issues concerning eyewear.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
