Bookkeeper / Accounting Administrative AssistantJob DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Administrative Assistant to support our day-to-day accounting and administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and comfortable handling routine accounting tasks in a fast-paced business environment.The right candidate will help manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll support, reconciliations, data entry, and general office/accounting administration.Responsibilities<ul><li>Enter vendor bills and process accounts payable</li><li>Create customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable</li><li>Track payments, deposits, and collections</li><li>Assist with weekly or biweekly payroll processing</li><li>Perform bank and credit card reconciliations</li><li>Maintain accurate accounting records and files</li><li>Enter job, customer, vendor, and financial data as needed</li><li>Help prepare reports for management</li><li>Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal team members</li><li>Provide general administrative support as needed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior bookkeeping, accounting assistant, or administrative accounting experience preferred</li><li>Experience with Spectrum, QuickBooks, Sage, Foundation, NetSuite, or similar accounting software is a plus</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general computer systems</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines</li><li>Good communication and follow-up skills</li><li>Payroll experience is a plus</li><li>Construction industry experience is strongly preferred but not required</li></ul>Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and takes ownership of their work.
