Your energetic approach and dedication will help us deliver exceptional patient-centered services, fostering a supportive environment that promotes health and well-being for all ages and backgrounds.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to establish accurate diagnoses.</li><li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating medication administration, injections, IV infusions, and wound suturing when necessary.</li><li>Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and internal medicine.</li><li>Perform specialized procedures including dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, spinal taps, catheterizations, and sonography.</li><li>Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, and Athenahealth to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and utilization review to ensure seamless patient care transitions.</li><li>Engage in telehealth consultations to extend care access remotely while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience with Epic EMR systems and other EHR platforms such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for efficient documentation.</li><li>Strong background in acute care settings including ICU, Level I/II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency rooms, and surgical units.</li><li>Expertise in specialized procedures like suturing, phlebotomy, catheter care, gastric lavage, spinal taps, and ventilator management.</li><li>Knowledge of pharmacology related to psychopharmacology, pain management strategies, and medication administration protocols.</li><li>Familiarity with ICD-9/10 coding standards (including CPT coding) for accurate medical documentation and billing processes.</li><li>Experience working with diverse populations including pediatric patients (neonatal ventilators), elderly residents in assisted living or nursing homes, and individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs.</li><li>Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing and medical imaging techniques such as sonography or medical imaging tools.</li><li>Skilled in infection control practices and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.</li><li>Competence in triage protocols for urgent care environments or emergency room situations requiring immediate decision-making.</li><li>Strong understanding of Workers' Compensation law and outpatient/outpatient clinic operations for comprehensive case management.
