Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to support our legal team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent research abilities, and a solid understanding of legal procedures. This role involves managing case files, preparing legal documents, and providing essential support to attorneys to ensure efficient case management and client service.Responsibilities<ul><li>Draft, proofread, and review legal documents, correspondence, and filings with accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and other online resources</li><li>Manage case files and documents using iManage or similar document management systems</li><li>Assist with project management tasks related to ongoing cases or legal projects</li><li>Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems both electronically and physically</li><li>Support attorneys with client interviews, scheduling, and follow-up communications</li><li>Prepare for court filings by ensuring all documents are properly drafted and filed in accordance with deadlines</li><li>Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and adherence to proper phone etiquette</li><li>Perform clerical duties including copying, scanning, filing, and maintaining office supplies</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven administrative experience within a legal setting or related field</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently</li><li>Excellent proofreading, writing, and legal drafting skills</li><li>Proficiency in research tools such as LexisNexis and familiarity with iManage or similar document management systems</li><li>Experience with project management and data entry tasks</li><li>Ability to perform legal research effectively and accurately</li><li>Good interviewing skills for client interactions and information gathering</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed</li><li>Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette</li><li>Prior clerical experience including filing, data entry, and general office support is preferred</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, TemporaryPay: $24.08 - $29.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
