Work Hours: Monday &ndash; Friday Dayshift
</p></li><li><p>Pay Range: $25.00 - $29.00/hour, depending on experience
</p></li><li><p>Work Location: Onsite &ndash; Savanna, IL
</p></li><li><p>Reports To: Accounting Manager
</p></li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Key Responsibilities
</b></h2><ul><li><p>Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures</p></li><li><p>
Reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries, maintaining thorough documentation</p></li><li><p>
Assist in month-end and year-end financial closings, including account reconciliations and variance analysis</p></li><li><p>
Monitor, track, and resolve discrepancies in financial records, invoices, and statements</p></li><li><p>
Prepare and maintain detailed financial records and reports to support the accounting department</p></li><li><p>
Support the Accounting Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analyses</p></li><li><p>
Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to clarify payment details and resolve account issues</p></li><li><p>
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries</p></li><li><p>
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations</p></li><li><p>

Skills/Competencies
</b></h2><ul><li><p>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Dayforce or Oracle) and Excel and Word</p></li><li><p>
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities</p></li><li><p>
Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders</p></li><li><p>
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines</p></li><li><p>
Experience with ERP systems</p></li><li><p>
Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices and compliance requirements

</b></h2><ul><li><p>Education: Typically Requires Associates Degree
