This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food handling, sales, and customer engagement within a dynamic retail environment.&lt;Duties&gt;<ul><li>Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.</li><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.</li><li>Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations to ensure accurate sales processing.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.</li><li>Manage food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks while adhering to food handling protocols.</li><li>Assist customers with inquiries about menu items, products, or services to enhance their overall experience.</li><li>Support inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.</li></ul>&lt;Skills&gt;<ul><li>Proven experience as a barista or in the food service industry with strong coffee knowledge preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively engage with diverse guests.</li><li>Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality standards.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and serving techniques to ensure guest safety.</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and service tasks.
