Job Overview Join our Machapresso team as a Barista, where your energy and passion for matcha will create memorable experiences for every guest. In this dynamic role, you&rsquo;ll craft delicious beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure a welcoming environment.Interview We are holding interviews from 11am-4pm this Friday 4/3/2026 at Machapresso Edison (561 US 1, Store E8, Edison NJ 08817).Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of matcha beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care</li><li>Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and delivery platforms to process transactions efficiently</li><li>Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and basic retail math</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and serving stations</li><li>Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly</li><li>Assist with food handling, food safety protocols, and basic food preparation to ensure quality standards are met</li><li>Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred</li><li>Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures</li><li>Experience in serving or caf&eacute; environments is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods in a fast-paced setting</li></ul>Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
