Pay determined by experience/skill level.This is a part-time to full-time position. At this time, full-time employees are offered a generous health insurance plan where company pays 85% of health insurance. Paid major holidays. After 1st year employee is eligible for paid personal days/vacation days.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Read diagrams to determine material needed to fabricate product</li><li>Perform takeoff from diagrams to determine cut sizes, lengths of tubing needed</li><li>Measure and cut tubing as needed for product</li><li>Work with steel tubing and aluminum tubing to build custom framework</li><li>Operate welding equipment efficiently and safely</li><li>Layout, position and secure parts prior to assembly</li><li>Clean and grind welds</li><li>Paint finished product as needed</li><li>Assist in loading/unloading frames, parts and equipment onto/from work trucks</li><li>Assist during installation process; carrying, lifting and hanging framework and covers</li><li>Assist in unloading supplier delivery trucks</li><li>Maintain a clean work environment</li></ul>Job Requirements:<ul><li>Knowledge of welding including procedure, equipment and safety</li><li>Ability to measure, cut and understand angles</li><li>Ability to read a tape measure</li><li>Ability to do basic math</li><li>Ability to lift and move heavy objects</li><li>Ability to maintain a clean and safe welding and work environment</li><li>General knowledge of and ability to use power tools</li><li>Strong work ethic and ability to work with a crew or individually</li><li>Takes instruction well</li><li>Reliable and good at time management</li><li>High school diploma or GED</li></ul>Work week is Mon-Thurs 7:30-4:00.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
