Pay determined by experience/skill level.

This is a part-time to full-time position. At this time, full-time employees are offered a generous health insurance plan where company pays 85% of health insurance. Paid major holidays. After 1st year employee is eligible for paid personal days/vacation days.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read diagrams to determine material needed to fabricate product
• Perform takeoff from diagrams to determine cut sizes, lengths of tubing needed
• Measure and cut tubing as needed for product
• Work with steel tubing and aluminum tubing to build custom framework
• Operate welding equipment efficiently and safely
• Layout, position and secure parts prior to assembly
• Clean and grind welds
• Paint finished product as needed
• Assist in loading/unloading frames, parts and equipment onto/from work trucks
• Assist during installation process; carrying, lifting and hanging framework and covers
• Assist in unloading supplier delivery trucks
• Maintain a clean work environment

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of welding including procedure, equipment and safety
• Ability to measure, cut and understand angles
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to do basic math
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe welding and work environment
• General knowledge of and ability to use power tools
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with a crew or individually
• Takes instruction well
• Reliable and good at time management
• High school diploma or GED

Work week is Mon-Thurs 7:30-4:00.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
