This position gives students the ability to gain real-world experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment, greatly contributing to the success of Arkansas's ONLY theme &amp; water park! Our HR team is responsible for creating an amazing workplace for hundreds of seasonal team members. </i><i>As an HR Intern, you&rsquo;ll get hands-on experience in recruiting, employee engagement, and workplace operations </i><i>while helping make this summer unforgettable for our team.</i></div><br>

<div></div><div><div><b>We believe interns should actually learn and contribute, so you'll help with the following:</b></div>
<div>Recruitment &amp; Hiring</div>
<div><ul><li>Assist with reviewing applications and scheduling interviews</li>
<li>Help host hiring events and job fairs</li>
<li>Support the onboarding process for new team members</li>
</ul><div>Employee Experience</div>
<ul><li>Help plan employee appreciation events and engagement activities</li>
<li>Assist with orientation sessions for new hires</li>
<li>Be a friendly resource for employees with questions</li>
</ul><div>HR Operations</div>
<ul><li>Help maintain employee records and our HRIS system</li>
<li>Assist with the completion of bi-weekly payroll</li>
<li>Support communication between employees and managers</li>
</ul><div>Special Projects</div>
<ul><li>Work on an assigned project related to our recruiting strategy and how it can be improved using data collected during onboarding</li>
<li>Other special tasks/projects related to improving employee culture and engagement across all departments</li>
</ul>
</div></div><div></div><div><div><b>What We're Looking For:</b></div>
<div><ul><li>Must be at least 18 years old due to the work hours required for this position</li>
<li>Someone currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Psychology, or a related field</li>
<li>Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary</li>
<li>Organized, reliable, and comfortable talking with people</li>
<li>Positive attitude and willingness to learn</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Someone who enjoys working in a fun, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects</li>
