About the RoleMaintain-It LLC is hiring independent Commercial Service Technicians for ongoing commercial repair work. You&rsquo;ll handle small-to-medium repairs including:<ul><li>Doors, closers, panic bars, hinges, locks</li><li>Roll-up doors (big plus)</li><li>Dock levelers (big plus)</li><li>Minor plumbing: toilets, faucets, leaks</li><li>Basic electrical troubleshooting</li><li>Ceiling tiles, drywall patches, hardware installs</li><li>General light maintenance</li></ul>Work is dispatched through our mobile app. You&rsquo;ll upload photos and notes to close out each job. This role requires rotating weekend on-call, with paid call-out rates.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Diagnose and complete light-to-medium commercial repair tasks</li><li>Adjust/install commercial door hardware and entry systems</li><li>Work on dock levelers and roll-up doors when needed (strongly preferred)</li><li>Communicate job status and upload clear before/after photos</li><li>Pick up approved materials using your fuel/materials card</li><li>Maintain a professional attitude at retail and commercial sites</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>2+ years in commercial maintenance, handyman work, or door hardware</li><li>Strong plus:</li><li>Dock leveler repair/maintenance</li><li>Roll-up door installation/service</li><li>Reliable personal vehicle (SUV/truck preferred)</li><li>Core tools: drill/impact, bits, Allen sets, punches, pliers/wrenches, level, PPE</li><li>Comfortable working independently</li><li>Ability to use a mobile app for documentation</li><li>Able to participate in rotating weekend on-call</li><li>Must pass a background check</li></ul>What We Provide<ul><li>Weekly pay</li><li>Fuel/materials card for work fuel + approved job materials</li><li>Monthly vehicle wear-and-tear stipend</li><li>Clear scopes and predictable, repeatable jobs</li><li>Paid call-outs for after-hours/on-call work</li><li>Simple workflows, no corporate BS</li><li>Growth path into &ldquo;Market Lead&rdquo; roles as volume increases</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Typically 40&ndash;60+ hours/week</li><li>Monday&ndash;Friday regular work</li><li>Rotating weekend on-call required (additional pay)</li><li>Occasional after-hours calls (optional with bonus pay)</li></ul>1099 NoticeThis is an independent contractor role.
