OverviewWe&rsquo;re looking for a reliable and hardworking Paver / Paving Laborer to join our construction crew. This role is hands‑on and essential to producing high‑quality asphalt, concrete, and hardscape surfaces. If you enjoy physical work, take pride in craftsmanship, and thrive in an outdoor, team‑oriented environment, this position fits you well.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare job sites by cleaning, grading, and setting forms for paving work</li><li>Assist with the installation of asphalt, concrete, pavers, and other hardscape materials</li><li>Operate hand tools and small equipment such as rakes, shovels, compactors, and plate tampers</li><li>Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment</li><li>Follow directions from the crew leader or foreman to ensure projects meet quality standards</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the job site</li><li>Assist with layout, measuring, and leveling surfaces</li><li>Perform routine maintenance checks on tools and equipment</li><li>Support the crew in all phases of paving, including demolition, base prep, installation, and finishing</li><li>Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in paving, concrete, landscaping, or general construction preferred but not required</li><li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50+ lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions</li><li>Strong work ethic and willingness to learn</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team</li><li>Reliable transportation to and from job sites</li><li>Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Outdoor job sites (residential, commercial, and municipal)</li><li>Fast‑paced, physically active work</li><li>Seasonal overtime may be required depending on project load</li></ul>Pay: $160.00 - $190.00 per dayBenefits:<ul><li>On-the-job training</li></ul>Work Location: On the road
