<div>THE DAY TO DAY&hellip;
<ul><li>Support engineering staff by performing basic engineering assignments in the design and development of crane control systems (Electrical) or crane structures and mechanisms (Mechanical)
</li><li>This can involve participation with planning, technology research, functional design, prototyping, product/component testing, etc.
</li></ul>In this internship you will gain experience with :
Electrical &amp; Computer Engineering Interns:
<ul><li>Embedded controllers in electric over hydraulic circuits
</li><li>Electrical circuit design in construction equipment applications
</li><li>Hydraulic control systems
</li><li>Creo / Windchill
</li><li>C/C++ for embedded controllers
</li><li>Microsoft Office
</li></ul>Mechanical Interns:
<ul><li>Concept Development
</li><li>Material Selection and Component Design
</li><li>Production Improvements
</li><li>Product Customizations
</li><li>Creo / Windchill
</li><li>Microsoft Office
</li></ul>You will be exposed to :
<ul><li>Office Environment
</li><li>Lattice boom crawler crane design and manufacturing
</li><li>Design reviews
</li><li>Structural fabrication processes including cutting, welding, forming, machining and more
</li><li>The product development process and manufacturing principles
</li><li>The systems prototyping process
</li><li>Production changes
</li><li>Final assembly processes
</li><li>Quality assurance processes
</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>Must be enrolled as a student at an accredited university studying toward a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar
</li><li>Must have and maintain a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0/4.0
</li><li>Should be mechanically inclined and have an interest in new product development, construction equipment, and manufacturing
</li><li>Experience with 3D Engineering software; preferably Creo (ProENGINEER)</li></ul></div>
