<div><p>Safety Responsibilities:</p>
<ul><li> Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of safety policies and procedures.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and audits.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Organize and facilitate safety meetings and training (e.g., OSHA, first aid, PPE use).</li></ul>
<ul><li> Investigate incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Maintain OSHA logs and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Monitor and track safety-related metrics (e.g., near misses, lost-time incidents).</li></ul>
<ul><li> Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Maintain SDS documentation, Safety Station and First Aid kits.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Maintain Hazardous Waste (e.g. Tracking, Disposal and Scheduling)</li></ul>
<p>
Human Resource Responsibilities:</p>
<ul><li> Support recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, and scheduling interviews.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Maintain employee records and HR databases ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Assist with benefits administration including enrollment and employee inquiries.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Support employee relations by responding to basic questions and concerns.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Help administer HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Support performance management processes (e.g., reviews, documentation).</li></ul>
<p>
Other Responsibilities:</p>
<ul><li> At times, the Safety/HR Coordinator may be asked to assist with other functions based on workload and company need. For example, there may be short-term needs within Customer Service or other departments.</li></ul><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in Human Resource, Occupational Safety, Business Administration or related work experience preferred.</li><li>
Must possess US Citizenship</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Systems.</li><li>
Ability to lift and move heavy packages as needed.</li><li>
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Willingness to adhere to safety standards and protocols.</li></ul><p>
