The Role</b></h3>

Marmon Mok is looking for a Proposal Specialist who loves crafting compelling stories, showcasing talent, and making every submission stand out. You&rsquo;ll be at the heart of our RFQs, SOQs, and marketing materials, helping the firm leave a strong impression on every opportunity.</p>

In this role, you&rsquo;ll collaborate closely with our Marketing Director, Graphic Director and senior leadership to create high-quality marketing content, coordinate engaging responses, and elevate the firm&rsquo;s brand across all platforms.</p>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Duties and Responsibilities</b></h3>
<p>
The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:</p>
<ul><li>Prepare and manage RFQ responses for prime and teamed opportunities, verifying that all minimum requirements are met</li></ul>
<ul><li>Lead team kick-off meetings, develop proposal outlines, capture technical information from subject matter experts while ensuring deadlines are met</li></ul>
<ul><li>Write, proofread, and edit cohesive proposal content without relying on AI</li></ul>
<ul><li>Collaborate with business development and technical leads to address client priorities and highlight firm differentiators in all materials</li></ul>
<ul><li>Support proposal submission logistics, including printing, production, and electronic submission when required</li></ul>
<ul><li>Complete all necessary proposal close-out activities, including filing, updates to marketing collateral, and maintaining proposal templates or boilerplate content</li></ul>
<ul><li>Support interview efforts as needed</li></ul>
<ul><li>Track and maintain information related to opportunities, clients, proposals and project using internal systems and tools</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist with updating CRM with opportunities, client contacts and project information</li></ul>
<ul><li>Attend pre-proposal meetings as requested</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitor industry resources for potential project opportunities</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain firm branding standards on all materials and communications</li></ul>
<ul><li>Develop relationships in the industry to help promote the firm</li></ul>
<ul><li>Other duties required to support the Marketing Department</li></ul>

Qualifications</b></h3>
<p>
The following qualifications are requirements of the position:</p>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in English, Marketing, Business, Liberal Arts, Journalism or Communications preferred</li></ul>
<ul><li>Minimum 3 years in architecture/engineering/construction industry</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proficiency in a wide range of software, including office productivity and design tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite &ndash; specifically InDesign and PowerPoint)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience using a CRM database preferred</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage time effectively</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to work independently</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must be detail oriented</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills without relying on AI</li></ul>
